Vignetting
The general topic of this lesson was suggest by a Masters Academy member. We’ll explore a multitude of techniques for darkening the edge of an image in an attempt to make the central portion of the image more attractive, which is known as vignetting. I do most of my vignetting using Adobe Lightroom Classic, although it can also be done using Adobe Camera Raw (ACR) or Photoshop, so we’ll explore all those options.
In this video I mentioned a separate lesson that covered cropping, which you can watch here.
Note: The downloadable practice image for this lesson have been compressed into a .zip archive. That means you will need to double-click on the file after downloading to extract its contents before attempting to use the image in Photoshop or Lightroom.
