Remove Dirt

I’ve been shooting a lot of flowers lately, and they seem to have bits of dirt on them (what a surprise). I’ve tried to remove the dirt in various ways, clone, spot healing etc. Even painting over in white. Just doesn’t look good. Suggestions?
