Raw Highlight Detail

In this lesson, I discuss why raw files have more highlight detail available that will only reveal itself after you adjust the image. Then we’ll get into why recovered highlight detail will occasionally show up containing odd colors and will potentially contain no color whatsoever. Then we’ll look at a simple fix for smoothing the resulting highlight detail.
