Color Grading in LR/ACR

This lesson covers the Color Grading feature that was added to Lightroom Classic and Adobe Camera Raw in October of 2020. This feature replaces the Split Toning feature that was available in previous versions. This adjustment is useful for tinting black & white images, enhancing sunrise/sunset images and for producing a cinematic style.

In this lesson, I show a tip for how to apply Color Grading via an adjustment layer by converting it into a curves adjustment using a technique from an earlier lesson.

Note: The downloadable practice images for this lesson have been compressed into a .zip archive. That means you’ll need to double-click on the file after downloading to expand its contents before attempting to use the images in Photoshop or Lightroom.
