Challenge Image-Background Blur

In this lesson, I work with a challenge image where I was requested to blur the background of an image. In the end, I did a lot more of the image including improving a mixed lighting situation and enhancing eyes. By watching this lesson, you’ll learn about using the Adjustment Brush in LR/ACR, more about making selections and working with multiple type of blur filters.

You can upload your own challenge images here. I really love seeing your image since it helps me learn what you’d like to see me teach and makes it so we’re not limited to the subject matter that I typically shoot.

Note: The downloadable practice image for this lesson has been compressed into a .ZIP archive. That means you’ll have the double-click the file after downloading to extract its contents before attempting to open the image in Photoshop.
