Making a Gray Sky Blue

In this lesson I cover how I went about fixing many problems with a particular image, including: 1) changing a semi-blown out sky to blue, 2) minimizing a lens flare, 3) removing edge artifacts caused by excessive adjustments in ACR or LR.

I would love to do more videos of this sort, but think it would be most ideal if I were to work on images that were submitted by Masters Academy members. If you’d like to submit an image, just post a low resolution version in the Masters Forum Facebook page along with a description of what needs to be accomplished. Also include the words “Real-World Challenge” in the post text so I can easily find your image when I’m getting ready to create another video like todays.

Note: This lesson does not have a PDF companion guide available. We include PDFs with all new lessons and will add them to lessons in our archive as time permits.
