Relighting Neon

In this lesson, I demonstrate how to relight the neon where it was burned out. In the process, you’ll learn how to match the color of two areas using curves, how to use the pen tool to reproduce an existing shape, how to use Layer Styles to add glows and how to use Layer Masks to limit where an effect appears. It will be good practice for using those tools even if you never need to relight neon (which is this case is actually argon-mercury to be precise).

If you haven’t used the pen tool before, you can skip that section since I supplied a path in the file. If you want to really understand how to use the pen tool, then watch this lesson that covers the essentials of using that tool.
