Gallery Wraps & Actions

This lesson shows you how to prepare images to be printed on canvas that will be mounted to a wooden frame where the image will extend around toward the back of the frame. I’ll show you how to manually prepare an image and then how to create an action to automate the process.

We also explore how to create, edit, troubleshoot and optimize complex actions.

I also include a gallery wrap action so you can prepare images quickly without having to learn about the details of creating actions. The .zip file that is available as a download for this lesson contains the action. After downloading the file, double-click on the file to download its contents and then double-click on the .atn file to file the action into Photoshop. Photoshop will not congratulate you in any way. You should find the action after choosing Window>Actions.
